Local Artist + Derby Connection: Exhibition opening April 18th

Contemporary sporting artist Tyler Robertson will debut his new exhibition, The Weight of Glory, on April 18th from 6:00–8:30 PM at KORE Gallery. The show explores the emotional intensity behind elite competition, focusing on thoroughbred racing as a lens into pressure, legacy, and fleeting moments of triumph. Known for his expressive use of color and palette knife technique, Robertson captures not just the action—but the feeling of high-stakes sport. Robertson has worked with brands including Maker’s Mark, the PGA, and Hilton, and served as the official artist of the Kentucky Derby 151.
